Menards.com^® is committed to keeping any data you provide us safe and secure. Our Gift Card ordering center utilizes Secure Socket Layer standards which ensure your data is being protected to the fullest extent. How long will it take to receive a Gift Card if I purchase one online?

Menards^® ships your order through the US postal service or via Federal Express. Please see the Shipping Times section in our Gift Card ordering center for specific shipping times and methods.

How do I apply for credit online?

I applied for the Menards^® BIG Card online. Now what do I do?

If you applied for credit using the online credit application, and did not receive an immediate decision, you may check the status of your application by using our Online Application Inquiry.

If you were approved, you will receive your card within 7 to 10 business days. Once you receive your card in the mail, please visit your nearest Menards^® and begin to Save BIG Money!^®

Where do I direct my BIG Card questions?

Menards^® has partnered with HSBC Retail Services group to provide you with financing options. If you have questions, you may call 1-800-871-2800 or complete this online form. HSBC Retail Services is committed to providing you with answers to all of your account questions.

When will my order be billed to my credit card?

All orders will be billed to your credit card on the day the order is placed. No charges will occur until you have submitted your order and address information has been verified.

Currently, Menards^® does not accept gift cards for online purchases.

How long will my order take to arrive?

For most items, you can expect them to arrive within 1-2 weeks of placing your order. However, certain items may take longer to be shipped, while some items have the option to be shipped quicker. On your order, you will see average time it takes for each of the items that you ordered to be shipped out, so you won't have to guess at when they should arrive.

How can I be sure of the color or finish before I order?

Menards.com^® is committed to your service in providing you with the best prices, and the quality you expect. For your convenience and peace of mind in ordering, we have provided several options enabling you to determine which specific color will look best for your project before placing your order:

Quickly and easily order free blind swatch samples to compare the color and texture of our custom-cut blinds.
Product pictures can be expanded just click on the picture providing you a larger, more detailed representation of the product and its finish.
Several of our products are available in a range of colors and finishes. Click on the desired color from the palette to view the product in that color.

We have worked diligently to landscape our site with the most vividly accurate and detailed product pictures, and color and finish representations. However, even with the advanced functionality and displays of our site, we cannot guarantee how accurately your monitor will display the colors, due to variances in your monitor settings and variables ultimately beyond our control. While we cannot assure what you see will precisely match the color of the actual products, we welcome you to request a swatch sample, reference our product pictures, or contact a Guest Service Representative for further assistance.

For window treatments, how many swatch samples can I order?

You may order up to 10 different swatch samples. These samples will be coming directly from our suppliers. If you ordered samples from more than one, you will receive multiple shipments that will add up to what you ordered. There are no charges associated with requesting these samples.

Do I need to have an account to order from your site?

You do not need to have an account with us in order to purchase from us; however we do encourage you to start an account with us for the following reasons:

Faster checkout by allowing us to pre-fill address information
Allows you to view your order history and to track the status of your order
You will be able to store multiple shipping addresses to your account
It is fast, easy, and secure!

Can I order tax exempt on Menards.com?

Yes, it is possible to order tax exempt from our site. To order tax exempt you need a valid Menards Tax ID, a Menards.com account, and approval to purchase tax exempt online. Please follow the steps pertaining to your situation to get your account activated for tax exempt ordering.

You have a Menard Tax Id AND a Menards.com account:

Log into your Menards.com account using our Log-In page.
Go to the tax exempt section under "My Account".
Follow the instructions given in the Menards Tax Exempt section to unlock tax exempt ordering.

You have a Menard Tax Id AND NO Menards.com account:

Create an account on Menards.com using our registration form.
Once your account has been created, go to the Tax Exempt section under "My Account".
Follow the instructions given in the Menards Tax Exempt section to unlock tax exempt ordering.

You have NO Menard Tax Id AND NO Menards.com account:

You can apply online for a Menard Tax Id by filling out a Menards tax exempt registration form.
Once you have received your Menard Tax Id create a Menards.com account.
To create an account on Menards.com please use our registration form.
With your account created, go to the Tax Exempt section under My Account.
Follow the instructions given in the Menards Tax Exempt section to unlock tax exempt ordering.

Do you have available inventory for products on your site?

Currently, we are not able to offer updated inventory numbers on the site.

What do I do if I received some items damaged?

If you receive an item damaged, please contact our guest service specialists within three days after you receive the item. We will assist you with returning the damaged item and receiving a replacement.

What if I want to order a large quantity of a particular item?

If you are looking to purchase anything over a quantity of 10 for a particular item, please email us and we will have someone contact you. We will gladly assist you with this larger order to ensure available inventory and proper handling.

How do I measure for ordering my new window treatments?

We have detailed instructions for how to measure your window for both an inside mount and outside mount in our Window Treatments section. They are easy to follow and provide good reminders for when you go to order your new window treatment.

What is the Menards^® "Low Price Guarantee" policy?

We guarantee our everyday competitive prices. If you find a lower everyday or advertised price on an identical stock item at any local retail competitor that has the item in stock, we'll match their price. Competitor's closeout, special order, discontinued, clearance, liquidation, and damaged items are excluded from this offer. Rebated offers, those requiring trade-ins, or other conditions precedent or subsequent to qualify for the lower price may also be excluded. Menards^® reserves the right to exclude other offers as necessary including but not limited to availability or special promotional offers. Any conditions required to qualify for the lower price at a competitor will also be required at Menards^®. Limited to reasonable quantities for homeowners and one-house order quantities for contractors. Current in-store price, if lower, overrides Menards^® advertised price.

Can I still get the sale price if you run out of stock before the sale is over?

Yes! We will give you a "Sorry Slip," so you can get the product at the sale price as soon as it arrives.

How do I file a complaint on a defective product?

We are happy to assist you in resolving problems involving defective products. If you are having a problem with a stock item, in most cases you can simply return it to the store for a refund or exchange. For proper credit or exchange, please bring in the receipt for the product, without it, full credit may not be given. Some products are seasonal and may not be able to be exchanged. When it involves a special order product, products that have been installed, or a warranty issue, we have complaint forms available at the store. This short form, along with copies of your receipts and special order contract, makes resolving your problem faster and less complicated for both of us.

Why is it better that I submit my complaint in writing?

A complaint in written form is more clear and concise. A verbal conversation can become confusing. If you write it down, we know better what your problem is and how to resolve it. Menards^® will deal with the manufacturer on your behalf, should that become necessary.

Can I purchase tax exempt in a Menards^® store?

Yes, if you or your organization has the proper tax exempt documentation, you can purchase tax exempt in our stores once you have received a Menard Tax Id. To receive a Menard Tax Id follow these steps:

Bring your state tax exempt certification with you to any store. You will need the information on these forms to apply for a Menard Tax Id.
Use our self serving kiosk to apply for a Menard Tax Id. A friendly Team Member will assist you in the process if you need help.
Upon successful completion of the process, you will receive a temporary Menard Tax Id with which you can purchase tax exempt that day pending managers approval.

Can I register for tax exempt at Menards.com?

Yes, if you or your organization has the proper tax exempt documentation, you can receive a Menard Tax Id via our website. To receive a Menard Tax Id via the website follow these steps:

You can apply online for a Menard Tax Id by filling out a Menards tax exempt registration form.
You will be contacted via e-mail by our Tax Department if further documentation is required.
After registration is complete, you will be sent a Menard Tax Id by e-mail.
To use the Menard Tax Id online, click here and follow these steps.
Use the provided Menard Tax Id barcode at any of our stores.

I would like to rent the Pickup & Go Truck, what do I need to do?

First, you must be 21 years of age, hold a current valid drivers' license and provide proof of insurance. The Insurance card must show effective dates, company name, and policy number. Second, a valid debit or credit card (MASTERCARD/VISA, DISCOVER OR MENARDS^® BIG CARD) is required for payment.

Pickup & Go RENTAL RATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

$18.95 for 1st 75 minutes (75 minute minimum)
$5.00 for each additional 15 minutes (rounding to the next quarter hour)
$3.50 fuel surcharge will be charged each time the truck is rented.
